The Gto Health System informs that as of Friday, May 19, the facilities of the old General Hospital of Leon on 20 de Enero street, are remodeled and enabled as a new Health Center to replace the CAISES at Miguel Aleman.
The Secretary of Health, Daniel Alberto Diaz Martinez explained that the area of the Obregon neighborhood comes to life with this authorization with services like:
- General consultation; dental; psychology; nutrition; family planning, wound clinic; vaccination; no-scalpel vasectomy
They also offer:
- Obstetric Screening Center, preventive medicine; detections, cancer in women, older adults, neonatal screening, sampling module and a UDI Child Development Unit
The remodeling of the Health Center had an investment of 20 million pesos. The building is officially expected to be handed over by Governor Diego Sinhue.
There is an observation area for patients in any emergency situation such as scorpion stings. In total, 160 health professionals plus another 400 people from the vector area now have more modern facilities to care for up to 20,000 inhabitants.
In relation to the facilities of the CAISES Miguel Aleman there is a project for a new CAISES and that in due course the State Government will be working, with the instances involved.
Doctor Daniel Díaz anticipated that this project would have an investment of more than 50 million pesos.
