More investment arrive in Guanajuato, the company Nestlé Purina announced that it will invest 2 billion pesos in its plant in Silao.

This was informed by the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, after meeting with directors of the Purina company, as part of his work tour of the United States.

“We are in Saint Louis, Missouri at the Purina headquarters, where we have just had a very important meeting with good news for Guanajuato and for Mexico,” said the Governor.

Rodriguez Vallejo said: “I am pleased to report that this great world-class company will invest 2 billion pesos in its Purina plant in Silao, Guanajuato. They will set up 2 new production lines, and create 150 direct jobs for Guanajuatenses.”

“In addition, they will be purchasing 39 hectares for future expansion, which speaks of their trust in our state”, added the Governor.

This investments, said the Governor, keeps promoting a more competitive and stronger farming activity in Guanajuato, promoting innovation and technological development for the benefit of our producers, said Rodriguez Vallejo.

“We are very proud to have a world-class company such as Purina in Guanajuato. We will continue working together, to continue making of Guanajuato the Greatness of Mexico”, said the Governor.
