More than 3,900 graduate from UVEG tele-prepas

Graduation ceremonies in different municipalities confirm the success of the program

The work of teachers in the academic achievement of young people is recognized

Teachers, parents and education authorities, and of the Virtual University of the State of Guanajuato -UVEG- met to celebrate the 3,902 young people who completed their Higher Secondary Education program through the UVEG Community Telebachilleratos in Guanajuato.

To recognize their achievement, 18 in-person Graduation Ceremonies were held in different municipalities of Guanajuato, to celebrate the graduation of the students, as well as their families, some coming from the most remote communities in the State.

“Each one of you is different, each one of you has a different potential. Today, in the job market, they are looking for very peculiar characteristics and they are so peculiar that they may find you. Today we can tell society that we already have someone qualified and trained”, said Ricardo Narvaez Martinez, Rector of the UVEG, and who celebrated this important goal for the students.

Narvaez recognized the work of the teachers in the academic support of the students, “parents and students, it is good to thank the teachers for that advice in time, as it allowed you to get this far”.

Narvaez shared the message from both Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo and the Secretary of Education, Jorge Enrique Hernandez Meza, encouraging graduates to continue preparing, “there are many options to study, those who do not yet know what they are going to study or where, may go into the Atlas of Education”.

Rogelio Carrillo Guerrero, Director of Comprehensive Training of Higher Secondary Education, representing Jorge Hernandez Meza, Secretary of Education of the State of Guanajuato, congratulated the new graduates and entrusted them not to abandon their dreams in the face of any challenge.

Natali Guadalupe Ramirez Ramirez, a Telebachillerato student from La Mocha community, in Cortazar, representing the student community, said that what was seen as a distant dream (continuing her studies), became a reality with the support received from both Community Telebaccalaureate like UVEG, so they are prepared to face new challenges.

The ceremony turned emotional when some students came with a representative photograph of deceased relatives that encouraged them to reach the goal. As well as parents who passed on behalf of their deceased children, to whom the recognition was given in an endearing symbolic act.

Officials informed in the event that Community Telebachilleratos UVEG reaffirms its commitment with the education of young people who, after completing their high school studies, have the skills and knowledge to promote the development of their community; as well as in the construction of the best education system in Mexico.
