More than 11,700 jobs were offered in 2024

In 2024, 18 “Labor Links” were held connecting Guanajuatenses with new job opportunities

The goal is to support people in their process of integration into the labor market in a more accessible and efficient way

Thanks to the “Labor Links” strategy implemented by the Ministry of Economy, in collaboration with the Undersecretary of Employment and Labor Training, in 2024 more than 11,700 vacancies were offered in 18 events held in different municipalities of Guanajuato.

Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, head of the Ministry of Economy, noted the commitment of the Government of the People, under the vision of Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, to create a competitive environment that favors local economic development.

This strategy has been key to generating working and professional conditions that benefit Guanajuatense families, through a close collaboration of municipalities, companies and the State Government.

“What we seek with these employment links is to make it easier for more people from Guanajuato to find decent jobs, better paid and with opportunities for development. Thanks to the coordination with companies, we are achieving that many people can access jobs that allow them to improve their quality of life. This is part of the commitment we have to continue promoting prosperity and well-being for all,” said Secretary Cristina Villasenor.

In 2024, labor links were established in municipalities such as:

• Leon, Silao, Celaya, Cueramaro, Guanajuato, Irapuato, Penjamo, Purisima del Rincon, Salamanca, San Diego de la Union, San Miguel de Allende, San Jose Iturbide, Valle de Santiago, Villagran and Yuriria

At these events, 840 companies participated, offering 11,798 available positions for technical, operational and administrative profiles. Companies such as Denso, Pirelli, Mazda, Lala, Mabe and Oxxo were some of those that provided these opportunities.

This program facilitates direct encounters between job seekers and companies that need talent. Through these events, the Government of the People continues to work so that more people from Guanajuato have access to job opportunities that strengthen their well-being and the development of their communities.

The commitment of the Ministry of Economy is clear: to continue opening doors to new opportunities. By 2025, the “Labor Links” will continue to be a key tool to improve working conditions and opportunities in Guanajuato.
