Governor delivers works and actions to benefit the citizens of Dolores Hidalgo

With the Social Pact for Education, in this 2023 the State Government will invest 1,054 million pesos in infrastructure for all levels of Education; said Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, during the work tour that he did in this municipality.
“From Dolores Hidalgo, we announce education as the spearhead of a fight against inequality, against violence and against poverty. There is no better weapon than education to defeat those enemies that Mexico has: inequality, poverty and violence”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
“Today, education has become that powerful tool that we have to sharpen, with infrastructure, personnel, and training,” said the Governor.
There will be 1,054 million pesos in educational infrastructure works at all levels:
- For Basic Education 618 million pesos will be allocated
- For Mid Higher it will be 355 million
- For Higher Education there will be 81 million pesos
To be intervened:
- 1,206 Basic Education schools
- It will impact 188,000 students
- Upper Middle and Higher Education
- 52 schools will be intervened
- 35,274 students will be impacted
- 22,837 in Baccalaureate
- 12,437 in University
The investment goes to infrastructure, equipment and furniture actions for public schools in the state of Guanajuato, with these education spaces will be improved for the benefit of the academic and social development of the community.
The first of the six objectives of the Guanajuato Contigo Sí Social Strategy is to raise the education level of Guanajuatenses, through a great pact for education, the delivery of scholarships, training, certifications and professionalization, economic support, school supplies and uniforms sports facilities, social and human development centers, and education infrastructure works.
