‘Month of the Testament’ campaign begins

For more than two decades now, this campaign has become an instrument of harmony, certainty and trust for all: Governor

The Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, launched the “Month of the Testament” Campaign, which aims to promote among Guanajuatense families the culture of prevention of conflict and patrimonial certainty.

“Today, we are very pleased to launch this important event, the Month of the Will. For more than two decades, this great campaign has become an instrument of harmony, certainty and trust for all,” said Rodriguez Vallejo.

The Governor noted the success of this campaign, which has been held for 20 years, and has had great social benefits.

Rodriguez Vallejo added that in all these years the number of will notices presented in the 24 Registry Offices in the State of Guanajuato has increased. This great response has been noted there, because the will is to protect the patrimony.

“A will is much more than a legal procedure. It is an act of responsibility, respect and love for loved ones, because through it, the will is expressed for the family to remain in harmony,” he said.

The Governor noted the commitment of the State College of Public Notaries, which participates every year to provide citizens with certainty and legal security through wills.

“Together, society and government, we have taken this path, a path towards a culture of legality and legal certainty,” he said.

Rodríguez Vallejo invited those who have not yet made their will to do so during this campaign that will be in effect during the months of September and October.
