In an atmosphere of unity and commitment to health, the reaccreditation of the Mutual Aid Group (GAM) “Mil Azahares” of Purisima del Rincon was held.

The group is comprised of 17 members between the ages of 30 and 71, who work constantly to maintain adequate control of their chronic diseases and improve their quality of life.
The event began with words by Abelardo Ornelas Aguilar, head of the CAISES Purisima del Rincon office.

Ornelas noted that this achievement reflects the discipline, effort, and mutual support both among the members and with the healthcare team, “we hope that this group would become a model for motivating more neighbors and family members to join these type of programs that strengthen community health.
During the evaluation, the group achieved favorable results that support their reaccreditation, demonstrating significant progress. These results reflect the participants’ commitment to self-care, healthy eating, and regular physical activity.

The group, accompanied by State authorities and staff of the Health Jurisdiction VIII, was evaluated by Liliana Ivonne Granados Martinez, State accreditor of the Chronic Diseases Program.
The name “Mil Azahares” was chosen because the orange blossom represents purity, renewal and belonging to nature, values that identify the spirit of this group that flourishes with hope and constancy.

One of the participants said with emotion: “They treat us very well here, they are more aware of our health than even our own family.”
Obtaining reaccreditation is a challenge that can only be achieved with commitment and teamwork, and the GAM “Mil Azahares” has demonstrated this with its effort and dedication.
