A migrant group is planning to go out from Honduras to USA

The Government of Guanajuato, through the Secretary of Migrant and Foreign Affairs –SMEI- activated the Protocol of Attention to People Migrant in Transit, as the massive caravan from Honduras is programmed to go through our State.
Humanitarian aid
In an interview for TV4, Juan Hernandez the head of SMEI said that they are monitoring any movement of migrant groups to provide humanitarian aid the way only Guanajuato and Guanajuatenses can do it.

“Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, has ordered migrants in transit to be aided, that is why we started the protocol to support anyone who goes through Guanajuato”, said Hernandez.
From Honduras
Hernandez said that this group of migrants will go out from Honduras on January 15th and they are people who will only go across our territory for a couple of hours, and they take a break, eat something and clean themselves to go on their way to the North border and get to USA to ask for humanitarian asylum.
