The event strengthens the competitiveness of MSMEs and promotes domestic consumption

With the participation of 126 Marca Gto companies, the Leon Veterinary Congress recorded sales exceeding 3.5 million pesos during its four days of activities, consolidating itself as a key space to boost local consumption and open new marketing channels.

The Government of the People, led by Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, promotes strategies aimed at strengthening local identity and creating new employment opportunities and prosperity for Guanajuatense families.
The Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, explained that this event represents a joint effort to showcase the talent and capacity of Guanajuato’s Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs), integrating them into productive chains that allow them to compete successfully in specialized markets.

With more than 22,500 attendees, including veterinarians, professors, business owners, and members of chambers and associations, local companies demonstrated their competitiveness and established business ties that strengthen their presence and growth.
Participating this year were companies from the leather and footwear, handicrafts, textile and clothing, agro-food, and developing industries, demonstrating the diversity of the State’s economy and the quality of its products.

The Leon Veterinary Congress reaffirms its commitment to promote MSMEs, making them more competitive, and fostering sustainable growth.
More than 7,000 success stories
Currently, more than 7,000 Guanajuatense companies proudly display the Marca Guanajuato Emblem, which represents quality, commitment, and State identity. This strategy boosts local consumption, strengthens the domestic market, and promotes the value of Guanajuatense-made products nationally and internationally.

With Marca Guanajuato 2.0, social and labor inclusion and equality, corporate social responsibility, and best practices in sustainability, care, and respect for our environment are promoted.
With these actions, the People’s Government, through the Secretary of Economy, consolidates its position as a dynamic hub of economic growth based on collaboration and local support.
