The State of Guanajuato promotes its tourist offer in the International Tianguis of Magical Towns 2023

The six Magical Towns of Guanajuato presented their incredible tourist offer in the second edition of the “Tianguis Internacional de Pueblos Mágicos 2023”, inaugurated at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, California.
In this iconic exhibition center for large events -where the Academy Awards that grants the Oscar; the Grammys, the Emmys, the MTV Awards, concerts, ballets, films and conventions have been held, the Guanajuato Tourism Secretary with mayors, Committee presidents, tourism directors, and tour operators from Jalpa de Canovas, in Purisima del Rincon; Mineral de Pozos, Comonfort, Dolores Hidalgo CIN, Yuriria and Salvatierra, present their varied tourist experiences.
On Friday night, Juan Jose Alvarez Brunel, Secretary of Tourism of Guanajuato, arrived at the event and congratulated the Guanajuato tourism sector for committing to its destinations and promoting tourism, its attractions, its products, and its folklore constantly both national and international.
This welcome was attended by Jose Alfredo Jimenez, grandson of the great Guanajuato singer-songwriter originally from the Pueblo Magico of Dolores Hidalgo CIN, who gave a presentation that emphasizes the 50th death anniversary of the relevant work of Jose Alfredo Jimenez in history of Mexican music, which will be held from November 22 to 26.
Guanajuato will have an enriching agenda until September 24, which includes business appointments attended by tour operators at a scheduled time with 15 minutes for each appointment.
They will also have destination presentations like “Live Great Stories in Guanajuato”, activations of “Tortilla Ceremonial” and “Callejoneadas de Mariachi y Mojigangas”, and interviews with international media.
This event is part of the Magical Towns program, launched in 2001 by the Ministry of Tourism of Mexico, in which the different regions of the country participate in order to diversify its extensive tourist offer.
Being part of the Magical Towns is an important brand that facilitates the marketing of destinations that, previously, had greater difficulty in becoming known nationally and internationally.
