Guanajuato capital and San Miguel de Allende, World Heritage Cities and main romance destinations in Mexico, receive for the first time the “World Romance Travel Conference WRTC-Love Mexico”, the most important business event of the romantic segment.
The State of Guanajuato has participated in this event since 2018. Since then, the Ministry of Tourism has attended the event together with representatives of destinations and wedding planners, with the aim of holding business meetings with the romance industry and giving them know the romance destinations, the infrastructure and the products offered by the entity.
After being held in the Riviera Maya, Los Angeles and Toronto, “Love México arrives for the first time in Guanajuato. Until November 10, last day of the event, we will serve this important romance market and we will make our services known to them,” said Lupita Robles Leon, Undersecretary of Tourism Promotion, on behalf of Juan José Álvarez Brunel, Secretary of Tourism.
In Mina de Guadalupe -a splendid building full of romanticism that dates back to the 18th century in Guanajuato capital, Love Mexico was inaugurated, with the presence of wedding planners, romance destinations, travel agents and specialized media in the wedding industry. from Mexico, the United States and Canada.
This romantic event, organized by the International Association of Destination Wedding Professionals -IADW- and supported by the Secretary of Tourism of the State of Guanajuato through the Directorate of Attention to Specialized Segments, today began its academic program and conferences with expert speakers in romance. in the Auditorium of the University of Guanajuato, an architectural jewel from the end of the 16th century.
The program will also take national and international attendees to see the Hacienda Belloli, a former silver refiner built by Spaniards more than 400 years ago, where they will have a meal and enjoy the landscapes of “The Most Beautiful City in Mexico 2022” by the “Mexico Travel Awards”.
Participants visited San Miguel de Allende, “Best Small City in the World” in the Readers’ Choice Awards of the prestigious Condé Nast Traveler magazine, to experience a callejoneada, the most requested activity by couples, in Parque Juarez, one one of the largest and busiest in the Heritage City.
Love México and SECTUR inaugurated an expo area with the presence of top suppliers of the wedding industry in Guanajuato at Hotel Live Aqua, an incredible space with a new, innovative and brilliant concept to celebrate a dream wedding.
The closing dinner will be at the Instituto Allende, built in the 17th century surrounded by majestic stone arches in pure Mexican colonial style and with a spectacular and traditional view of San Miguel; today the place offers an unforgettable experience when celebrating weddings.
