The organizing comitee chose Guanajuato as the host of the event with two main tourist destinations: Guanajuato City and San Miguel de Allende

Guanajuato will host the “World Romance Travel Conference – Love México” in 2022, the event will show the wedding planners in Mexico and abroad that the Romance destinations in Guanajuato are ideal for weddings, honeymoons and other celebrations of couples.

Kitzia Morales Torres, the President and Founder of the International Association of Destination Wedding Professionals (IADW) announced the decision as 2 important events of the industry were held at the hotel Barcelo Riviera Maya in Quintana Roo, Mexico.

In his presentation of Guanajuato as a great destination, Alvarez Brunel said that in Guanajuato the Romance Tourism is lived in weddings, engagement celebrations, honeymoons and bachelor parties in both cities declared World Heritage Sites, as well as in adventure tourism destinations like San Jose Iturbide and Tarandacuao; Leon; and the 6 Magic Towns: Yuriria, Salvatierra, Dolores Hidalgo, Jalpa de Canovas, Comonfort and Mineral de Pozos.
