The Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, inaugurated the Technology Transfer Meeting for Livestock Farmers, where technological experiences are exchanged to improve livestock production; this year beekeeping was included.
He said that events like this are very important because the livestock sector is supported in what is necessary to innovate its production with technology, and progress has already been made to the first places in livestock production at the national level.
This is, said the Governor, a merit of each sector that is reinforced day by day with its particular work, but that is reinforced with the support of the State and Municipal governments.
“This could not be possible without the joint effort of society and Government; and for me it has been important to come to this event of the Transfer Groups, because what we need is to continue supporting each other”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
“It is to innovate with Mindfacture in the field, and it is to seek and have new knowledge to produce more,” said the Governor.
The Governor said that more than 8.4 million pesos will be invested in this transfer group and the beneficiaries are expected to obtain a return of more than 20%.
The Governor added that so far in the six-year term, more than 34.5 million pesos have been invested to support more than 3,440 production units that work in the State.
The program My Cattle Productive provides technical assistance and training to 1,165 producers and their families to improve their productivity, income, family self-employment and the sustainability of their production units.
