The Governor of the People presented the second stage of the ALLIES Strategy to Guanajuatense women

The People’s Government is advancing its commitment with the women of Guanajuato by launching the second phase of ALIADAS (Allies). Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo reaffirmed her commitment to ensure women’s well-being.
“We are here with you, presenting this second phase of the ALIADAS Strategy, which was born from listening to you, from being with you, from walking alongside you. Today, we continue to believe in the women of Guanajuato, and everything this government does must be done with the support of our people,” said the State Leader.
ALIADAS is a comprehensive and cross-cutting strategy designed to empower women through programs and services that improve their quality of life, boost their personal and professional development, and strengthen their health and safety.
In this new phase, ALIADAS goes from 20 to 27 programs (offered by 15 state agencies: CEAIV, CODE, DIF GTO, IECA, INAEBA, Health, ISSEG, Juventudes, Human Rights, Economy, SEG, New Beginning, Government Secretary, Women’s Secretary, UVEG) of which 18 are maintained and 9 are new, designed to diversify support and promote education, development of capacity and family well-being.
The new programs are:
- Healthy Eating Courses; Courses for Young Women; Grade Check Guidance; My Teacher Online; Education Service Locations; Seed Provision for School Gardens; Virtual Education; Language Center Courses; and Education Support for Women Recipients of the Pink Card
“Today I am thrilled to be here with you, after a year that has been full of great challenges and great opportunities to continue working for our people,” said Libia Dennise.
Programs such as the Pink Card, “In Action for Pension,” “Finish Your High School,” and free medical services have changed the lives of thousands of women and their families. With the Pink Card and all the services it offers, more than 654,000 women have a tool for protection and care.
“With ALIADAS, you are not alone; you are supported and protected. This Government will continue to listen to and address the needs of women, because when a woman advances, so does her entire family, her community, and all of Guanajuato,” said the Governor of the People.
