In an atmosphere of joy, togetherness and much heart, the Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, visited the San Antonio Children’s Home along with the President of the State DIF Advisory Council, Juan Carlos Montesinos Carranza, where they spent time with the children of the shelter to celebrate Three Kings Day.

The Governor shared the traditional Three Kings’ Bread with the children, listened to their dreams and aspirations, and gave each of them a gift, insisting that girls, boys, and adolescents are the most valuable asset Guanajuato has and that their well-being is a priority for the People’s Government.

“The most beautiful we have in Guanajuato are our girls and boys, and we will continue taking care of you, accompany you and work so that you have a happy life,” said the Governor, who thanked Mother Socorro and the entire team at the children’s home for the work they do every day with love, commitment and dedication.
Libia Dennise acknowledged the selfless work of those who dedicate their lives to care for and support vulnerable children, and reaffirmed her commitment to continue working together to improve the conditions of the children’s home and strengthen projects that provide them with a safe, loving environment full of opportunities.

The President of the State DIF, Juan Carlos, noted the importance of working as a team for the girls and boys of Guanajuato and recognized the daily effort of those who are part of this institution.
“We want you to feel supported and that you are part of a team with us. You can count on the State DIF to continue working together for the girls and boys, because there is nothing more important than helping you succeed,” said Montesinos.

The gathering included recreational activities, writing letters to the Three Wise Men, and moments of conversation and laughter that strengthened bonds of trust and affection. Currently, the San Antonio Children’s Home provides care for children and adolescents under its institutional guardianship, offering minors care, stability, and support for their full development.

Also participating in this visit were Maria Teresa Palomino Ramos, Head of the Office of the Attorney for the Protection of Girls, Boys and Adolescents of the State of Guanajuato, as well as Jose Alfonso Borja Pimentel, Director of the State DIF.
