The Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, presided over the ceremony for the presentation of Performance and Labor Well Being Incentives 2025.
The objective of this program is to reaffirm the People’s Government’s commitment to the health, well-being, and professional development of its staff. Symbolically, awards were presented to 34 individuals representing the collective effort of their institutions.
Performance evaluation measures professional skills, daily activities, participation in training, and accreditation in physical health programs.
“Today we are very excited to recognize those who are the heart of this People’s Government; those who work with commitment. You are always ready to give your best,” said the Governor.
That’s why today we celebrate the effort, dedication, and passion you put into everything, added Libia Dennise.
Public service is a permanent commitment, to which one puts our heart into each of our actions, and for that reason, it is important to recognize the service you provide to Guanajuato, emphasized Libia.
“Your work does not go unnoticed, as you inspire us to continue working with passion, vocation and dedication,” the Governor added.
Libia Dennise noted that this year, efforts have focused on the health and well-being of public servants in our government. During 2025, a Quality of Life Plan was implemented, which included medical evaluations, follow-up by nutritionists, and physical activity sessions.
Preventive screenings such as mammograms, breast ultrasounds, and prostate-specific antigen (PSA) tests were conducted, contributing to a culture of comprehensive health. Initiatives such as “200 Heartbeats for the People,” which promotes voluntary blood donation, a life-saving act, were also launched.
The “Let’s Win the Race Against Breast Cancer” competition was also organized, which in its fourth edition brought together more than 2,000 people including families and public servants, promoting prevention, self-care and healthy coexistence.
In total, 5.6 million pesos were invested this year in health and wellness actions, with 6,550 interventions carried out.
Promoting healthy work environments and strengthening the capabilities of those who make up the public administration will always be directly reflected in the service that citizens receive, the Governor added.
“I want to ask you to continue being that friendly face that reflects the feelings of this administration, close to the people, and that listens and improves every day,” said the Governor.
