Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, candidate to be the Governor of Guanajuato for the coalition “Force and Heart for Guanajuato”, had a reunion with representatives of the Mexican Association of the Automotive Industry -AMIA-, to present her plan to develop this economic sector in Guanajuato.
“We know how important this sector is in our State and today I talked with representatives of the main global companies of the automobile industry that have operations in Guanajuato”, said the candidate to be the Governor.
Libia talked about the impulse of electro-mobility, the reconversion of the auto industry, the hiring of more women in posts in this sector and the logistic advantages offered by Guanajuato.
“We talked about very important topics and I had the opportunity to present them my programs in topics like reconversion of the auto industry, electro-mobility and clean and sustainable energies. Also, the unquestionable impulse we will give to the logistic “hub” that will occur mainly in the Laja-Bajio zone and that will benefit in an important way the automotive sector”, said the candidate.
“They all showed their enthusiasm and intention to work and add their effort to continue promoting Guanajuato in this opportunity that is the nearshoring”, said Libia Dennise.
The candidate of parties PAN, PRI and PRD to become the Governor, also explained to representatives of the auto industry her vision to support Guanajuatense women, with her plan to hire more women in this economic sector, as part of the State Program of Pink Incentives, which intends to promote among companies to hire in their work-force at least 40% of women and count with the service of care centers for the children of workers.
Libia added that she will promote the training through the -STEM- majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), and the strategy to reactivate the children care centers, day care centers and full-time schools in Guanajuato.
Libia also talked about the new strategy she will enforce in security, to bring back peace and calm in Guanajuato.
“Representatives of AMIA see Guanajuato as a booming State and where we are going to keep promoting this industry which, no doubt, is one of the most important parts and the heart of our economy”, said Libia.
