This is a strategy with a digital platform that offers more than 150 active content items
“The answers to the challenges that Guanajuato faces lie in its young,” said the Governor

“For the People’s Government, it is very important to be close to the young of Guanajuato; to listen to them, serve them, and know what they need”, said Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo.
In her program Connecting with the People, the Governor recognized the Academia Juventudes platform as one of the pillars of this employability ecosystem, where digital training is provided so that young people have an open, accessible, and purposeful tool, free of charge.
The Governor of the People was with Alma Regina Trujillo Dominguez, Director of Juventudes; Luisa Fernanda Alfaro Luna, Director of Planning and Public Policies for Juventudes; and Maria Geraldina Pina Rodriguez, a beneficiary of the Juventudes Academy. They agreed on the importance of understanding the realities of the Guanajuatense young, the challenges they face, and their environment.
“Young people are agents of change, because they have the power to shape their future and influence their environment. For this People’s Government, the young are a priority,” emphasized Libia Dennise.
Currently, 12,000 young people use this platform, which offers more than 150 types of content.
“I’ve already taken more than 95 hours of training, 32 courses so far, and I’ve found them to be incredibly beneficial, because it’s not just about studying in front of a screen, but also about developing myself as a young person and preparing me for life. I definitely recommend that you enroll in the Juventudes Academy,” said Maria Geraldina Pina Rodriguez.
“What we’re looking for is to democratize knowledge, to be able to see how diverse all the young are, and to know that they can access this Academy from a phone. While we’re serving in the field with the Juventudes Network, we knew we needed a strategy that would reach everyone,” said Director Alma Regina Trujillo.
The tool integrates job placement programs with real-life professional internships; digital training paths with curricular value; emotional, vocational, and career guidance support programs; and, soon, microcredentials academically endorsed by the University of Guanajuato.
“What we want is for all young people to have the necessary tools to navigate the workforce. It’s like a virtuous circle. If young people arrive better prepared, with more tools, companies can connect with their needs, always focusing on our young,” explained Luisa Fernanda Alfaro Luna, Director of Planning and Public Policy for Juventudes.
