More than 40 awards were presented to workers from the 16 union regions for their years of service
Libia Dennise endorses her commitment to the education of Guanajuato girls and boys

In the commemoration of the Day of Educational Support and Assistance Personnel -PAAE-, the Secretary of Social and Human Development -SEDESHU-, Libia Dennise Garcia, representing the State Governor, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, led the awarding of recognition to workers for their years of service.
Libia reiterated that there is a strong commitment to the education of those who are the future generations of Guanajuato and assured that teachers are the heart of the education system, but this cannot be understood without the work done by PAAE, “all those who support the schools do a great job that this community allows”.
“I hope it is the first of many years that Support Personnel is recognized, our union has to shelter everyone, it has to pamper everyone, we do not have first, second, or third-class workers, today, this National Union of Education Workers has every obligation to account for and serve each one of you,” said Juan Rigoberto Macias, Secretary General of the National Union of Education Workers -SNTE- Section 45.
Macias took the opportunity to thank the Secretary General of the National Executive Committee –CEN- of the SNTE, Alfonso Cepeda Salas, for supporting and promoting the initiative to establish July 21 as the Day of Education Support and Assistance Personnel, nationwide.
At the event, 32 awards for 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of service were awarded to workers from the 16 union regions.
Jose Luis Olvera Nunez of Section 13 of the SNTE, representing Alfonso Cepeda Salas, said that it is a very significant date because “it is the first event after almost 67 years that the union organization has been alive.”
“With work and commitment, with vocation and dedication we will be a better state, we will have a much better country, a Section 45 and a better National Union of Workers for all of us. Congratulations and many congratulations!” said Olvera.
Then came the delivery of 11 recognitions to Support Personnel who have provided their services for 35, 40 and 50 years.
Secretary Libia Dennise concluded by stating that in Guanajuato “today we can say that we are working hand in hand with the unions; that the teachers and Support Personnel are in the schools working, putting their hearts into it; and that today we have a governor who is committed to the education of our girls and boys”.
