To deal with the ravages caused by the COVID19 pandemic, a series of programs emerged in Guanajuato to promote the development of citizens, one of them was the called “Let’s Work Together”.
This Monday, the Secretary of Social and Human Development, Libya Dennise Garcia, gave some support and highlighted that this program “allowed us to work with the people, so that they could have an income, but at the same time, we could also improve our neighborhoods and our communities”.
Based on the municipality of San José Iturbide and with the participation of citizens from the inhabitants of Doctor Mora, Santa Catarina and Tierra Blanca, these supports were delivered, consisting of the maintenance, construction and rehabilitation of public spaces in charge of the and the Guanajuatenses.
On this occasion, more than 500 families were benefited with the delivery of financial support for participating in said program, which “reflects the focus on social development and the improvement of the life of each one of the Guanajuatenses,” said the mayoress. from San Jose Iturbide, Cindy Arvizu.
On behalf of the beneficiaries, Cecilia Robles, said that through Temporary Employment she managed to feel useful and happy to be able to serve her community, in addition to using the monetary resource to cover her university expenses.
“With these programs we have the possibility of improving our communities day by day, hopefully these programs will not be lost and that next year we can be beneficiaries of the program again,” he added.
Libia Dennise concluded: “Of which I feel very proud that Guanajuatenses are hard-working people, people thrown forward. On behalf of the Governor, we are going to continue promoting programs that benefit the families of Guanajuato. What moves us is working for Guanajuato, and making our families live better every day.”
