In Regional Delegation VII, 45,048 school supply kits and backpacks were delivered to students of 471 public schools
This donation represents a helping hand for the economy of parents and helps protect their income

“In Guanajuato, we want our children to be in the classroom, to continue studying. Today, I want to invite you, parents, to join forces for the education of our children,” said the Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, as she handed out backpacks and school supplies to students for the 2025-2026 school year.
This delivery was made to primary school students from Moroleon, who are part of Regional Delegation VII, which is made up of the municipalities of:
- Acambaro, Coroneo, Jaral del Progreso, Jerecuaro, Salvatierra, Santiago Maravatio, Tarandacuao, Uriangato and Yuriria
“Together, we are a great team for education, and we want you to return to school motivated,” Libia Dennise told students from Francisco I. Madero Elementary School (Morning Shift) and Emiliano Zapata Elementary School (Afternoon Shift).
The distribution of school supplies and backpacks will benefit girls and boys throughout the State, that amounts to 586,621 public primary school students. This represents support for the right to education and a financial relief for households in Guanajuato.
Each first- and second-grade kit contains Italian-style notebooks with large lines and grids, pencils, a two-colored pencil, an eraser, a sharpener, a glue stick, scissors, and crayons. The third-grade kit is similar, but includes professional notebooks, pens, and other grade-appropriate materials.
For 4th, 5th, and 6th grade, the kit includes professional notebooks, pens, highlighters, a geometry and coloring set, among other supplies.
This delivery was made possible through the Secretary of Education of Guanajuato (SEG) and is part of a comprehensive strategy as part of the commitment to creating an equitable, accessible, and dignified school environment.
With Libia Dennise at the event were Alma Denisse Sanchez Barragan, Mayor of Moroleon and other local and State Education Officials.
