Leon hosts the largest AI Hackathon in Mexico

Hundreds of Guanajuatense students compete at the Hackathon on the Day of Minfdfacture using technology, Artificial Intelligence and innovation

Participants started with great excitement and with the Day of Mindfacture being a complete success, which this year has as its central theme, -Futures and Artificial Intelligence-, experiencing a day full of learning, inspiration and a lot of programming, since the flag of start of Hack DMF, which brings together around a thousand Hackers participating to overcome different challenges.

Juan Antonio Reus Montaño, Director of IDEA GTO, highlighted the importance of this event because it places young people at the center of creativity, where their ideas help solve real problems using technology as an ally to generate solutions to real problems.

“This hackathon represents a unique opportunity to boost creativity and innovation in our community. We are excited to be part of this event that promotes talent and technological development”, said Reus. Hazael Perez, President of CANIETI Guanajuato, said that technology and innovation are key drivers for the economic and social development of our country.

Participants in the Hackathon, such as Norma Gomez and Juan Aguilera, expressed their excitement and joy at being part of a transformative experience such as HACK DMF.

This is how the activities of Hack AI, Hack Womentefactura and Talen TIC began, and on Wednesday they announce the winners.

The main goal of this hackathon is to boost the creativity and interest of young people in science and technology, through 8 challenges that cover key areas such as Smart Entrepreneurship, Health and Wellbeing, Digitalization in Prevention, Creative Industries, Sustainability, Technological Development and Innovation.

The implementation of new tools seeks to adapt to technology and artificial intelligence trends to improve the quality of life.

The Day of Mindfacture has been a festival of innovation, starting with a great and incredible conference by Michio Kaku, which made the attendees think about the future of humanity.

Chumel Torres and Oswaldo Casares recorded the Podcast “Se Dice and nothing happens”, with a vibrant audience, and the Mentefactura Innovation Forum of CANACINTRA LEON also began.

The different forums were highlighted by personalities such as Gustavo Medina Tanco, Leader of the COLMENA project, Polilinker, Paco Web, Ernesto Fernandez Polcuch, UNESCO Representative in Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay, Bismarck Lepe, Founder & Executive Chairman, among many more.

Hundreds of activities were brought together in only two days, in a single place and with the same objective: enjoying and celebrating innovation and Mindfacture.
