Generation 51 graduates from the Leon Metropolitan Academy of Public Safety

“The uniform is a commitment to citizenship, it is not to feel superior, nor to have an air of grandeur; we are public servants and we will have to perform our duties with dignity and we will always enforce the law legally”, said Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, at the graduation ceremony of Generation 51 of the Metropolitan Academy of Public Security of Leon; the fifth of the current municipal administration.
The Governor called the new police officers to “conduct themselves on the right track and not to fall for provocations or accept deals with criminals, because it is better to behave legally, to hold your head up before the citizens and their own families”.
He also asked the graduates to work, shoulder to shoulder, and to take care of each other, because they will always be in constant danger.
“If you stand firm in your ideas, they will stop bothering you and they will see that you work with the law in hand and this will be a great satisfaction for your families and they will see you with dignity”, said the Governor.
“It is a vocation that does not have a guarantee because it is a harsh reality in which owe ne lives, we trust you because you have been a better trained generation,” said Rodriguez Vallejo.
Mayor of Leon, Alejandra Gutierrez Campos, said that this is the fifth generation graduated from the current municipal administration, and it is the first in annual training that allows better service learning for police elements.
The graduates worked 2 thousand 655 hours, during 12 months, where they acquired the bases as a public servant; they are better prepared cadets, with a broader program and strengthened in its contents for them to do a better job, in addition to being students in the virtual baccalaureate of the Virtual University of the State of Guanajuato –UVEG-.
“Today I want to recognize your work because this generation comes very different; the commitment was to create great elements of public security, and you as people are the most valuable thing we have and enforcing the law is a great responsibility, it is not an easy task”, said Gutierrez Campos.
“You are not alone, you count on us because we understand your work; we trust in you”, said the Mayor of Leon.
