With the aim of increasing the competitiveness of the workforce in Guanajuato, engineers with Manufacturing Systems Integrator profiles received certificates of labor competence.
The purpose of the Mentefactura strategy promoted by the State Governor, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, is to create the conditions for the local economy to transition towards a more specialized one with greater technological content.
The head of the Secretariat of Sustainable Economic Development (SDES), Ramón Alfaro Gómez, in coordination with the State Training Institute (IECA), the Guanajuato Automotive Cluster (CLAUGTO) and the Ibero-American University, delivered the certificates.
“Here we have the technology in Guanajuato with the greatest development in the world and we must take advantage of it, we have a network of innovation parks, you have a very clear path which is the direction and the path, these certifications prove that you have acquired the skills, knowledge and skills,” he said.
Alfaro Gómez explained that the synergy between government, industry, private initiative and academia makes it possible to detect the needs of companies established and to be established in the entity to provide them with highly competitive talent.
In total, 29 certificates were awarded to engineers with specialization in 4 profiles: industrial robotics, computer vision, industrial networks and automation, and vision-guided robotics.
This certified generation is made up of engineers from the companies ORBIS, Würth, Kostal, U-Shin, Continental, BorgWarner, Wollsdorf, Hope Global, Kromberg & Schubert, Denso, Oshkosh, Plastic Ómnium, Witzenmann and Hella.
The State Government through the SDES strengthens the industrial processes of different economic sectors present in the state: plastic, chemicals and automotive-auto parts to add value to the local economy and move towards the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
The arrival of national and foreign companies to the state of Guanajuato allows the transfer of technology, in addition to the development of innovative projects, so the professionalization and certification of workers is a fundamental tool for their processes.
The Innovation Parks ecosystem allows the transfer of technology from economic sectors with greater added value to more traditional ones, through the application of science.
Finally, the head of the SDES assured that the consolidation of human capital allows the labor market to improve with better-paid employment opportunities.
