Also on stage will be the Symphony Orchestra of the University of Guanajuato ( OSUG ), directed by Roberto Beltrán-Zavala, also the Bicentennial Theater Choir and the Children’s Choir of Valle de Señora with the choral direction of Jaime Castro Pineda

The Roberto Plasencia Saldaña Bicentennial Theater of the Guanajuato Cultural Forum is ready to premiere next week its new production of La Bohème, by Giacomo Puccini , one of the most emblematic lyrical works in the Italian repertoire; an opera in four acts with an Italian libretto by Luigi Illica and Giuseppe Giacosa, based on Scenes from Bohemian Life , by Henri Murger.

With 140 artists on stage and with the participation of a cast of young singers, mostly from Guanajuato, this presentation includes the participation of the Symphony Orchestra of the University of Guanajuato, a group with a privileged place in the musical scene in Mexico as one of the most prestigious orchestral ensembles in the country and with a solid international projection; OSUG will be under the baton of Roberto Beltran-Zavala, unanimously considered by orchestras, the public and the specialized press as one of the most talented conductors of his generation.
