Guanajuato/Gto News
In order to make it easier for citizens to access the services provided by the General Directorate of the Civil Registry of the State of Guanajuato, the Secretary of Government launches the Kiosco Digital GTO platform.
It is an innovative tool of the Secretary of Government so that users have access, from a computer or cell phone, to some services that previously had to be done in person at the State Civil Registry Offices.
In the Digital Kiosk, Certified Records of the Civil Status of people will be issued, in PDF format (only marriage, birth or death), documents that guarantee identity and legal certainty, and that have the same validity elements as those issued in the Civil Registry Offices.
Users only have to go to the page:
- sgenlinea.guanajuato.gob.mx
click on the type of record they need and type their CURP or complete data (Name and Date of Birth), and check that the information is correct.
If the data does not have errors, the payment is made online (for this fiscal year 2022 the cost is 86 pesos MN) and by completing this step, users will be able to download their Certified Document of birth, marriage or death that are valid in the public and private sectors.
These documents have security elements and have the same value as those granted in the Civil Registry Offices of Guanajuato.
The Digital Kiosk only issues Certificates for people who have a birth, marriage or death record within the State of Guanajuato.
The General Direction of the Civil Registry has set up a WhatsApp number:
- 477 632 77 13, to answer any questions on the service via message (not calls)
To request birth certificates from another State of Mexico, users must complete the procedure directly on the Federal Government page at:
