Continuing with the work agenda, the Governor, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, met with directors of JICA, the international cooperation agency in Japan, to strengthen collaboration and training programs to improve the bilateral work between Japanese and Mexican companies settled in Guanajuato.
JICA Vice President Yamada Junichi promised to continue with the training programs for Mexican companies, the promotion of scholarships for Mexican workers in Japan, and support for SMEs through the Guanajuato Training Institute.
During the meeting, Yamada Junichi announced that the support provided by JICA will be extended in Guanajuato to promote startups (newly created companies).
“We collaborate not only with SMEs but also with startups in Mexico. We are preparing to send an expert JICA startup advisor who will arrive in Mexico in August to be in contact with the Guanajuato Government”, announced Vice President Yamada Junichi.
At this moment there are 2 more Japanese companies interested in doing business in Mexico, specifically in Guanajuato due to the growing number of Japanese companies in the State.
For JICA it is very important to continue working in Guanajuato and Vice President Yamada Jumichi recognized the efforts of the Governor, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, for the implementation of the punctuality program “because this campaign has improved time compliance”.
