Industrial Transformation Mexico and the Annual Meeting of Industrialists celebrated the most important week for the national industry in Leon, Guanajuato

The fourth edition of Industrial Transformation Mexico -ITM-, the Hannover Messe of Mexico and Latin America, came to its end, an event that was held in parallel to the Annual Meeting of Industrialists -RAI- 2022 at the Poliforum Leon, an event that represented the most important week for the national industry from October 4 to 7 in Leon, Guanajuato.
During the 3 days of ITM 2022, more than 200 national and international exhibitors, leaders of the entire 4.0 technology scope were brought together with company pavilions from countries like Japan and Canada, as well as a new exhibitor segment dedicated to the aerospace industry 4.0.
Almost 30,000 visitors arrived, including industrial leaders, professional buyers from more than 30 countries and students from various education institutions in Mexico who participated in the education program Futuristic Minds.
The agenda of activities began on October 4 with the celebration of the Night of Industrialists at the Bicentennial Theater, a technological show where the most important industrialists, companies, academics, political personalities and the most important media in Mexico met.
At the opening ceremony of ITM 2022, Governor Diego Sinhue stressed that it is “a pleasure and an honor that Guanajuato is once again the industrial capital of Mexico …new ideals of development, innovation and knowledge will emerge here, which will build a nation Of future …You are received by a State where ideas and innovation are part of our DNA”.
Jochen Köckler, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Deutsche Messe, said that “ITM is the ideal setting where all representatives of industry, politics and knowledge can send a clear signal of the sum of wills that exist today to move towards a sustainable and digital reality, which allows us to create solutions to the problems of our time and of future generations”.
During the leading exhibition of Industry 4.0 in Mexico, a great program of conferences was carried out, where the presentations of ITMujeres and the third edition of the education program Futuristic Minds stood out, together the events held more than 100 exhibitions with more than 200 speakers.
The research and development project “Storm Science for Innovation Project” was held for the first time in alliance with CINVESTAV, which linked 90 researchers with more than 60 companies for the development of innovations and technologies for the businesses of the future in Mexico.
Also, the first edition of the M-TECH awards was held to promote the participation of young Guanajuatense women in robotics; the Zukunft awards for companies and institutions with projects in favor of closing the digital divide; as well as the second edition of the Startup Pitch and the IT and Itzamna Industry Awards, all of them focused on promoting companies, entrepreneurs and young talent so that their businesses, creations and ideas become the engines of growth of the future.
