With a capital of more than 614 million dollars and the generation of more than 6 thousand committed new direct jobs, 18 investment projects have been completed outside the Guanajuato industrial corridor in the present State Administration.
The Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, has stated his intention to achieve a balanced development in all areas of Guanajuato, as well as to diversify the economic vocations of the municipalities with new industrial sectors.
The head of the Secretary for Sustainable Economic Development (SDES), Ramon Alfaro Gomez said that the State economic policy is designed so that growth reaches all corners of Guanajuato for the generation and preservation of jobs.
These investments have been in the municipalities:
- San Luis de la Paz, San Jose Iturbide, San Miguel de Allende, Abasolo, Salvatierra, Valle de Santiago, Uriangato, Ocampo, Manuel Doblado and Doctor Mora
They are companies of the sectors:
- Food, plastic, textile-clothing and automotive-auto parts
The arrival of these companies represents –in addition to the generation of jobs– the arrival of new economic activities with new industrial processes, work culture and greater specialization of the workforce.
With its installation outside the industrial corridor, employment opportunities are opened and the development of infrastructure is triggered, the labor supply is increased and a better educational relevance is defined according to the needs of each region.
Guanajuato is one of the states with the greatest economic diversification, with the presence of traditional sectors and others with a higher technological content; with this, the foundations are laid for sustained growth that provides opportunities to improve the lives of Guanajuatenses.
The commitment of the Governor of Guanajuato is to create the conditions so that the private initiative can create and maintain well-paid formal jobs to improve the quality of life of families.
