As the first week of the Investment Attraction Tour of Europe comes to an end, Governor of Guanajuato Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo secured an investment for US$40 million dollars with the transnational ITT Motion Technologies, a world producer of brake pads, shock absorbers and other components for the automotive and rail markets.
A great trade ally
“Italy is a great trade ally of Guanajuato, today we are closing a really successful agenda in Italy, with the announcement of a new investment in Silao Puerto Interior for 40 million dollars and the creation of one hundred and eleven direct jobs and more than three hundred indirect jobs by ITT”, said the Governor.
ITT works worldwide for the automotive, aerospatiale, industry and energy industries; they are world leaders in production of brake pads for vehicles and it has important technological advances and innovative integrations for electric vehicles.
Supplier of great brands
Today ITT is a supplier for auto companies and vehicles like Tesla Cybertruck, Ford Mustang, Cadillac and Jeep Grand Cherokee, among other, and they are committed with the environmental protection before, during and after its production processes. Updated goals
“Within our vision of attraction of investment, just as it occurs in our Government Program, we have updated our goals. We are looking for updated investments, with a strong commitment with the environment and sustainability, also investments that guarantee their presence in the face of global changes such as consolidation of the electric cars market, in order to offer our youngsters the possibility to develop in an ecosystem of economy of knowledge, better known in Guanajuato as the Valley of Mindfacture”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
Since 2018
In 2018 ITT arrived in Guanajuato and it established its headquarters in Puerto Interior, from where it sends its production to the North American market.
Soon the company will increase its production and presence to offer more jobs and production in brake systems and to contribute more to the automotive hub offered by Guanajuato to the world.
