“Guanajuato will continue to be a leader in the different industries, and the focus is on technology and innovation, for the benefit of Guanajuatenses”, said the Governor of Guanajuato, Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo.
Libia was in the opening ceremony of the Night of Industrialists, prior to the start of Industrial Transformation Mexico (ITM) 2024, which will be held from October 9 to 11, under the name: Industry Week in Mexico.
“It is an honor to welcome Mexico’s industrial leaders to Guanajuato. Tonight, the city of Leon becomes the industrial capital of Mexico”, said the Governor.
“And may this night become the Night of Industry, because there are many women who also contribute with their leadership and talent”, said the Governor.
Libia said that Guanajuato generates trust and works hand in hand with businessmen and women to promote the social and economic development of the State.
The Governor congratulated the winners of the TIC–Itzamna 2024 Awards, who with their projects have stood out in innovation and social responsibility, in addition to promoting a more sustainable future for the industry.
“Our recognition to Alejandro Malagon Barragan, president of Concamin, as well as Jochen Kockler, president of the Board of Directors of Deutsche Messe, who has shown clear signs of his trust in Guanajuato”, dijo Libia.
The Governor reiterated that we will continue to move forward to consolidate Guanajuato as an engine of economic growth in the country, for the benefit of Guanajuatenses.
“Today, on this great night, we give you the warmest welcome to Guanajuato. You are at home, we welcome you with open arms,” the Governor said.
One of the most important moments of this event was the presentation of the Itzamna ICT and Innovation Awards, granted in collaboration with the National Chamber of the Electronic, Telecommunications and Information Technology Industry (Canieti).
These awards recognize companies, academic institutions and governments that have stood out for their impact on digitalization and the promotion of the Industry 4.0 agenda in Mexico and Latin America.
