The robot called Da Vinci, is fully operational at the Hospital Angeles in Leon. Guanajuato is now at the vanguard of technology in medicine.

Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, was at the inauguration of the Robotic Surgery Equipment, called Da Vinci, at Hospital Angeles de Leon.
The New Da Vinci System is a sophisticated robotic platform that enables high-precision minimal invasive surgical approach.
“Guanajuato is once again on the map and with the inauguration of this Da Vinci robotic surgery Equipment, Hospital Angeles remains at the vanguard and also strengthens the medical offer in the Entity,” said Diego Sinhue.
It is an operating room with adaptations for the video system and an optional space that consists of a surgeon’s console, robotic arm cart, vision console for the medical functions that the equipment will perform.
With this system, all surgeries that require a high-precision approach in the specialties of urology, oncology, general surgery, gastro-biliary surgery and neurosurgery can be attended.
Da Vinci is the only gear of its kind in Leon, both in public and private hospitals.
