For the first time, the Undersecretary of Operational Intelligence as well as the Undersecretary of Security will be part of the work of the Undersecretary of Prevention that seeks to measure the impact in 100 priority areas

From now on, the priority zones of the 46 municipalities of Guanajuato will have a specific follow-up to measure the impact of the activities carried out by the People’s Government in matters of prevention.
The Secretary of Security and Peace developed and implemented the Action Capture System of the Phoenix Prevention program, which will be used by 20 agencies in the State to measure the impact of activities on citizens.
After concluding the training session with liaisons from all participating agencies and organizations that make up the Intersecretarial Commission for the Prevention of Violence and Crime (CIPSVD), Roberto Centeno Torres, general director of the State Information Center, explained that, for the first time, the Undersecretary of Operational Intelligence and the Undersecretary of Security will collaborate on this matter with the Undersecretary of Prevention.
“The 20 agencies have committed to actions that will be numerically monitored; the aim is for these to have an impact on different areas, which will be measured by the State Center, more detailed consultations and reports on the different actions in the area of prevention can be generated,” the director explained.
The goal of this internal work platform is to register and measure the actions carried out in polygons in the 46 municipalities of Guanajuato, with special emphasis on the 100 priority attention zones of the Phoenix Program.
“We will be able to analyze the impact we have, how many actions have been taken in each one of them, and the possible impact on improving the security situation in each of these areas,” Centeno explained.
The Undersecretary of Prevention, Elia Barbara Lugo Delgado, addressed the liaisons, thanking them for their institutional commitment and requesting their support to continue working in a coordinated manner, seeking new ways and schemes to integrate the work of their areas into the strategy of prevention.
