Juan Carlos Lopez Rodriguez, General Director of the State Training Institute -IECA- stated that the six centers that were launched are part of the innovation and Mindfacture process, during the last six years of Government and that they have served to strengthen human talent.
In the presence of Governor Diego Sinuhe Rodriguez Vallejo, local and federal legislators, State and Municipal Government officials, Lopez Rodriguez pointed out that the six centers that have been formed within the IECA are:
- The Center for Electronic Design and Integrated Circuits (Cedeci)
- The Center for Packaging and Wrapping (Capackgto)
- The Specialized Center for Automation (CEA)
- The Engineering and Technological Development Center (Ingenium)
- The Advanced Manufacturing Center (Caman)
- The American Axle and Manufacturing Innovation Center
Each of these centers, said Lopez, were created to provide training and services for companies, the general public and those seeking to improve their knowledge and skills in collaborative robotics, packaging, and quality and durability.
These centres also carry out automation and advanced engineering projects. The opening of what will be AgroIECA and Turing is planned to be announced shortly, two more centres that will be added to the six previous ones and that will address issues related to the agro-food industry and in specialized areas such as office automation, programming, web applications, data analysis, content generation, programming software, mobile application development and virtualization.
The Governor of Guanajuato referred to the activities of the IECA, noting that in the beginning, training in the State was basic and today Guanajuato has managed to reach another level with topics of innovation, integrated circuits, packaging and information technologies.
“In this sense, the IECA becomes the cornerstone of the Mindfacture strategy for the coming years,” said the Governor, after congratulating the General Director of the IECA for his work and because very few understand where the future of Guanajuato, innovation and Mindfacture is headed.”
Like the Governor, Lopez Rodriguez thanked the IECA family, the businessmen, the Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development and each and every one of those who have collaborated with the Institute to achieve what Guanajuato has today in terms of training; but above all, to the people who have attended each of the 31 available schools for training and personal and professional growth.
