Ibarra receives more support from the People’s Government

By instructions of the Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, staff from the New Beginning Secretary and the State Civil Protection Coordination delivered food supplies and cleaning items to affected people

The people of San Pedro de Ibarra in Ocampo are not alone. They have the support of Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, who reaffirmed her support for the families affected by rain

The People’s Government continues to deliver aid to affected families, and as of 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, food supplies and cleaning equipment were delivered to 131 homes.

The delivery of aid was carried out by personnel from the Secretary of the New Beginning and members of the State Civil Protection Coordination, who also had the support of members of the State Public Security Forces, who collaborated with surveillance and cleanup efforts.

The censuses conducted by personnel from the State Civil Protection Coordination will continue in the coming days to identify more affected families and increase the delivery of support.

The food supplies that were delivered include:

• Rice, tuna, sugar, beans, milk, pasta, cooking oil, neutral soap, toilet paper, powder detergent, disinfectant, dishcloth, garbage bags, and other basic items

They were also given cleaning supplies, such as brooms, mops, dustpans, squeegees, shovels, and buckets.

In addition, 200 additional cleaning kits were delivered to the community temple, so that residents will come and collect cleaning supplies in the coming days.

All agencies of the People’s Government, led by the Secretary of the New Beginning, responded to the requests of the people of this community, and the State Civil Protection Coordination continues to identify affected individuals and connect them with the various agencies.
