“HONDA continues to grow at its Celaya plant, reaching an accumulated investment of 1,583 million dollars”, said the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo.
The Governor of Guanajuato met with HONDA executives at the Company’s headquarters in Tokyo.
Rodriguez Vallejo recalled that HONDA arrived in Guanajuato in 2011, with the announcement of an investment of 800 million dollars and the commitment to generate 3,200 jobs.
Later in 2013, now in operation, they expanded their investment, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
“Today they are celebrating 10 years of operations in Guanajuato, and they continue to honor their word and commitment”, said the Governor.
“They have informed us that they have continued to invest in their Celaya plant, to reach an accumulated investment of 1,583 million dollars, reaching 4,600 jobs generated”, informed the Governor.
“That is trust in Guanajuato! Thank you very much HONDA for completing 10 years of operation in our state and thank you for believing in our people”, said Rodríguez Vallejo.
HONDA has 339 consolidated subsidiaries around the world, where it employs 204,035 people.
