GTO has a Vaccination Cold Network of excellence

The Guanajuato Health System has a Cold and Vaccination Network for the optimal administration of vaccines. Daniel Diaz Martinez, Secretary of Health reported that this Network adheres to safety guidelines.
It is a solid cold network that covers its conservation, handling, transportation and distribution, which ensures adequate conditions, guaranteeing the immunogenicity of the biologicals.
With these characteristics, the Guanajuato Universal Vaccination Program has the capacity to offer safe and effective vaccines, and thus protect against Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD).
The GTO Health System has 18 cold rooms distributed in 8 Health Jurisdictions.
With a health license are:
- Celaya, Acambaro, Irapuato: Torres Landa and Misiones; Penjamo, in Leon: Floresta, CAISES, Trojes; San Francisco del Rincón and 3 of the central warehouse
In the process of obtaining the license are:
- Guanajuato City, Dolores Hidalgo, San Luis de la Paz, Silao and San Miguel de Allende
In the vaccination strategy against Covid 19 alone, more than 10 million 122 thousand 255 drugs were applied to Guanajuatenses against Covid 19, equivalent to a rate of 164 thousand 135 doses per 100 thousand inhabitants.
In proportion, it would be more than 59 percent of the state’s citizens with more than one dose.
