With 31 labels from 9 wineries from 4 municipalities, Guanajuato wines will be present at the 2023 International Meat Congress.
With the economic policy of State Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, transversal actions are adopted by different state agencies, to promote a business environment that strengthens the competitiveness of the livestock and agro-food sectors through their commercialization.
The head of the Secretary for Sustainable Economic Development –SDES-, Ramon Alfaro Gomez noted the complementarity between oenology, viticulture and the meat sector for the promotion of gastronomy and the economy of Guanajuato.
Alfaro said that the final strategy is for Guanajuatense wines to reach the diners’ tables, thus opening up new marketing spaces for the positioning of the vineyards and local labels, as well as the professionalization of the knowledge of the people who work in the wineries. consumption centers.
Some brands participating are:
- Guaname, Pajaro Azul, Cuna de Tierra, Lavista, Rose, Tres Raices, Cavas Manchon, Tierra de Luz, Vinedo San Miguel, La Santisima Trinidad and Vina del Gran Padre
The brands come from the municipalities:
- Dolores Hidalgo CIN, Leon, San Felipe and San Miguel de Allende
The Congress, which is organized by the Mexican Association of Meat Producers –AMEG-, is considered the most important business event and exhibition for meat production in Mexico, in which the latest advances in technology, solutions, machinery and supplies are presented.
With the participation of more than 70 exhibiting brands in more than 4,000 square meters of exhibition space, the event will take place on June 7 and 8 at Poliforum Leon and an influx of more than 3,000 people is expected.
