Guanajuato trains leaders for the future

“+ Guanajuato in the world” recognized the positive results of the strategy, with activities for young Guanajuatenses

JuventudEsGTO opens the doors to the world, allowing more than 17 thousand young people to live an international experience

More than 17 thousand young Guanajuatenses have lived an international experience during the six years of the current state administration, headed by the Governor of the State, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo.

“That ecosystem of leaders that Guanajuato formed with its youth will have the opportunity to give the best to future generations, to make the best decisions, to work as a team, to be able to overcome all the problems we have, that is the value of this strategy; Guanajuato in more than 75 countries, 5 continents, more than 600 times around the world, it is easy to say, no other government does it, we do it in Guanajuato,” said Antonio Navarro, general director of JuventudEsGTO.

“The young have a great mission with our state and with our country, but this mission cannot be understood without this alliance with the people who are ahead of us, with our mentors, with our friends, with our allies”, said Navarro.

During the current State Administration, just over 17,900 young people from the 46 municipalities of the State have benefited, with an investment of more than 290 million pesos through various modalities of the GTO International program.

To commemorate these results, JuventudEsGTO developed the event “+ Guanajuato in the world”, in which it brought together beneficiaries of this international strategy, holding testimonial talks, conferences, workshops and a networking session.

The GTO International program is a powerful tool to promote the personal and professional development of young Guanajuatenses. Through this initiative, thousands of young people have had the opportunity to live unique experiences abroad, expand their horizons and acquire new skills.
