The People’s Government boosts the economy of the center of Guanajuato with productive equipment
Support is delivered for the benefit of 63 families from 11 municipalities of Guanajuato

With an investment of 2 million 400 thousand pesos, the Government of the People, through the Ministry of Economy, provided support to 63 families from 11 municipalities of Guanajuato through the business strengthening program “Business Guides”.
These supports consisted of the delivery of furniture, equipment and productive tools to help entrepreneurs strengthen their projects and diversify their income.
The Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, noted that this type of support represents a concrete action to strengthen the local economy and create jobs.
In addition, Villasenor recognized the work of the Government of the People, led by Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, to ensure that Guanajuatense families have access to the necessary tools to improve their living conditions.
“By supporting our entrepreneurs with these grants, we give them the necessary tools to generate their own income, thus contributing to the prosperity of Guanajuato. These actions have a direct impact on the quality of life of our people,” said Villasenor Aguilar.
The program is designed to promote small entrepreneurs in various trades, such as: Masonry, carpentry, bakery, mechanics, hair styling and others, by providing them with the necessary inputs to develop their productive activities and generate more income.
With these actions, the People’s Government reinforces its commitment to promote self-employment and generate better economic development opportunities for Guanajuatense families.
On this occasion, the support was delivered in the municipalities of:
- Irapuato, Celaya, Cortazar, Guanajuato, Leon, Salvatierra, San Miguel de Allende, Juventino Rosas, Purísima del Rincón, Villagrán and Valle de Santiago
The delivery of this equipment reflects the People’s Government’s commitment to create a more equitable Guanajuato, with access to the same opportunities for all families, regardless of their location or socioeconomic context.
Through these programs, the Secretary of Economy continues to strengthen the creation and preservation of jobs in Guanajuato, improving the quality of life of the people of Guanajuato and promoting a more robust and dynamic local economy.
