With ‘Guanajuato Compra Guanajuato’, government agencies and companies will be able to purchase products made in Guanajuato

The Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, inaugurated ‘Guanajuato Compra Guanajuato’, an event that seeks business opportunities, productive supply and links local MSMEs with purchasing companies and government agencies.

“Here the producers, the entrepreneurs of the MSMEs, are the guests of honor; ‘Guanajuato Buys Guanajuato’ becomes a flag, an insignia, of what Guanajuato can offer the world”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.

“The best government policies are public policies and they are those that arise from society and government, those are the ones that last over time,” said the Governor.

The objective is to promote the generation of business by MSMEs in Leon and in Guanajuato to increase their sales in a mixed event that includes business meetings, conferences, workshops and exhibitions, where the offer of their products and services can be linked to institutional buyers.

This event is organized by the Confederation of Industrial Chambers of the United Mexican States -CONCAMIN- Bajio, in coordination with the Government of the State of Guanajuato, through the Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development -SDES- and the Secretary of Finance, Investment and Administration -SFIyA-.

“Starting today ‘Guanajuato Buys Guanajuato’ can be synthesized into a public policy that can be counted in a single idea: we are going to take a risk with our producers and our suppliers; ‘We have to become indispensable for the industries’”, said the Governor.

CONCAMIN Bajio and the SDES are working on strategies to strengthen the economy of Guanajuato companies, mainly MSMEs with different actions identified in the “Strategic Plan to Promote the Local Economy”.

The SDES and CONCAMIN have developed the participation of the business and public sector with the strategy of ‘promoting opportunities in Municipal and State Government purchases’.

The President of CONCAMIN Bajio, Ismael Plasencia Nunez, said that artificial intelligence allows the opportunity to do “good business” local, state, national and foreign, through the BIZ GTO platform, and more than 2,300 potential buyers.

“This platform will allow us to broadly understand the business opportunities, with BIZ GTO, it is the way in which CONCAMIN Bajio fulfills its commitment to do business with companies in Guanajuato”.

After the inauguration of ‘Guanajuato Buys Guanajuato’, the Governor offered a presentation on the Greatness of Guanajuato and the support that has been given to MSMEs during his administration.
