With the opening of HENN, Guanajuato surpassed 40% of its six-year investment attraction goal
So far in the current State Administration, 47 projects have been completed for an amount exceeding 3,500 million dollars

With an investment of 4 million dollars and the generation of up to 100 direct jobs, the plant of the Austrian automotive company HENN was inaugurated.
With the start of operations at this plant, Guanajuato reached 44% of its six-year goal for attracting investment (set at $8 billion), adding to date a total of $3.541 billion in 47 projects that represent more than 11,100 committed jobs.
On behalf of the Governor of the State, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, the Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, led the inauguration of the HENN Americas plant at the Hybrid Park facilities.
“In Guanajuato, we work to offer a solid ecosystem: infrastructure, legal certainty, specialized talent, and connections with local suppliers. Our role is to facilitate investment that translates into sustained growth and social well-being,” said Villasenor.
Also, the Official noted that HENN’s technology, from a leading company in coupling systems for fluid and air management, is essential for both combustion engines and electric vehicles. Its presence in the State is driving the transition to a more innovative, efficient, and competitive industry.

The arrival of HENN diversifies local supply chains and strengthens the competitiveness of Guanajuato in the face of the global trend of investment relocation.

With the start of HENN’s operations, the bilateral economic relationship is strengthened. Currently, Guanajuato is home to nine Austrian-owned investment projects representing a combined capital of $375 million and the creation of more than 4,400 jobs.
