The lands of Tarimoro, Guanajuato, are where the best peanuts are produced in the State and they are exported to the United States.

The Tarimorense peanut and derivatives production and marketing company was created to bring this product to the world and with the support of COFOCE they are achieving this.

In the Con Sabor a Guanajuato series, the story of La Tarimorense is presented, a company dedicated to the production of peanuts that over time decided to give it added value in order to export it.

“The four selections of local peanuts, with which we make Güeba products with the Marca Guanajuato sela for the world,” said Adriana Ramirez, owner of “La Tarimorense.”

The peanuts are separated by color to give them added value that makes them different, some of them are used to make liquor, the roasted peanuts sold during the Christmas season are sold in bulk or in bags.

From there comes the need to process and industrialize pickled peanuts, with a vinegar fermented with a family recipe, which over the years, it is its particular flavor that has made it successful in the Bajio and in the United States.

“My company was founded in 2007, and that has always been our goal, to export our peanut product to make it known, it is a nostalgic product, our intention is also to make our products known first in the United States and our next step is to take our product to Europe to another continent,” said Adriana Ramirez.

They also use the liquor to make mixology; they use it to prepare salads, enchiladas, sauces and other products to give them a special touch.

The lands of Tarimoro have that particularity, which produces a peanut that is unique in the region. The main characteristic is that they have a soft shell and in addition to obtaining a quality product, it brings prosperity to people in the community and even to people who come from other states.

“Sometimes they give a lot of life to entire families who come here to earn a few cents, they come and they earn a few cents more, right now it is the season for this product”, said Natividad Ramirez, peanut farmer.

Thanks to fairs like the one organized in Miami and the participation of COFOCE in it, these Guanajuatense products like pickled peanuts can be exported to other countries.

In each episode, the series shows a success story of Guanajuato food and beverage products that are exported to other countries, every Tuesday at 6 pm on TV4 and COFOCE’s social networks.

This season, COFOCE and TV4 will present 5 episodes of success stories of food and beverage products from Guanajuato that are being exported to other countries.
