Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, the Governor of Guanajuato launched the new image of the Tourism campaign “Guanajuato, Lives Great Stories” in Leon.

“It is great to be here in an event that is part of the relaunch campaign of the Touristic Brand of Guanajuato, and we are doing it in the most iconic cities for tourism in Guanajuato. Now we do it from Poliforum in Leon”, said the Governor.
“Here, one of the most important convention destinations in Mexico, we have the commitment to invest more than 200 million pesos to improve the premises”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
An opportunity
“The crisis caused by the Covid 19 pandemics, is an opportunity to relaunch Guanajuato, and get back on our feet faster and through this campaign ‘Guanajuato, Lives Great Stories’”, said the Governor.
The Letter “G” of Guanajuato means promoting the main tourist attractions of Guanajuato, said the Governor who noted that the Congress of our State has passed $40 million pesos to the Budget of Tourism.
“This strengthens this campaign for the benefit of all the tourist sector to keep doing of Guanajuato the Greatness of Mexico”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
One of the pillars
The Secretary of Tourism of Guanajuato, Juan Jose Alvarez Brunel, said that the tourism industryis one of the main pillars of economic development of the State.
“We are sending an important message to strengthen tourism and we are doing it through this brand”, said Alvarez Brunel.
Local, National and International
“We are inviting people to live great stories in Guanajuato. The fact that this brand is being launched at Poliforum in Leon, Guanajuato is because this an important place in the organization of important local, National and International events”, said the Secretary of Tourism.
Hector Lopez Santillana, the Mayor of Leon, present in the event thanked the support of the State Government to promote tourism in Leon.
