Guanajuato is an ally of investors, here they find all the necessary conditions for companies to develop their projects, and an example is the great presence of productive plants from the US.

Close to US companies

The Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo and Chritopher Landau, the Ambassador of the US in Mexico had a reunion with representatives of US companies in Guanajuato.

“The United States is the main trade associate of Guanajuato, and investments of the companies that you represent have been fundamental because you have contributed to the economic and social development of our State”, said the Governor.

An important factor

The US Ambassador in Mexico recognized the work of the US companies because, he said, they are an important part in the growth of Guanajuato, besides generating a large amount of jobs for Guanajuatenses.

And just like the Governor, the Ambassador confirmed all the support to entrepreneurs who, he said, are an engine of economic development in Guanajuato.

More investment

The Ambassador and the Governor agreed that with the USMCA, the State of Guanajuato will benefit because it has the geographical location, the logistics and workforce to attract more investments from the US.

In his second day of activities in Guanajuato, the Ambassador and the Governor visited the premises of the US company American Axle and Manufacturing.

Billionaire sales

This US company of the automotive sector manufactures front and back axis, as well as bearings for General Motors. This plant has sales for some 2 thousand million dollars a year and it is the most productive of this firm in the world.

Both figures also visited the premises of the General Motors plant in Silao. The automobiles that are produced in this place are exported to the US, Canada, Central America, the Middle East, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

At the museum

The Governor and the US Ambassador in Mexico, visited the Museum of the Mummies, one of the most important tourist attractions of the Capital city of the State.

In his two day tour of Guanajuato, the US Ambassador in Mexico, inaugurated the Building of Scientific Investigation Services of the State General Attorney.

The support of the US Embassy

Also, both had a reunion with industrials of Guanajuato.

The Ambassador showed his support to entrepreneurs and said that the US Embassy is there to help US companies solve different needs.
