Guanajuato is in position number 5 as an exporting state in the country, above Tamaulipas.
According to data reported by INEGI, Guanajuato reached 7,939 million dollars in the first quarter of this 2023, which represents a 9% increase with the same period of 2022.
Guanajuato is the greatness of Mexico and maintains the first place as a non-border exporting state, and now as the 5th in the chart in mexico.
In the reported period, exports of the Transportation Equipment Manufacturing subsector reached 5,429 million dollars, which represents a variation of 9 percent compared to the same period last year; this represents 68 percent of the State’s exports, and 11 percent nationally.
Meanwhile, the incidence industries reported an amount of 2,510 million dollars, with a variation of 10 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. These industries accounted for 32 percent of the state’s total exports.
The exports of the food industry continue as one of the strongest of Guanajuato in Mexico, representing 12 percent. In this period from January to March it reported 497 million dollars.
