The head of SDES presents the challenges and perspectives for the sector

“Guanajuato is one of the most dynamic logistics platformsin the traffic of merchandise, the result of infrastructure and connectivity development”, said the Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development -SDES-, Ramon Alfaro Gomez.
The Secretary was at the inauguration of the 12th. edition of the Transport Logistics Forum, organized by the National Chamber of Cargo Transportation -CANACAR- Guanajuato delegation and the Guanajuato Logistics and Mobility Cluster (CLYMGTO).
The economic policy of State Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo takes advantage of the State’s competitive advantages to make of Guanajuato one of the most dynamic economic platforms in the country, as a result of its investment attraction model and the growth of connectivity infrastructure.
“When we talk about logistics and transportation, without a doubt what has happened in Guanajuato in recent years has not been the result of chance, it has been work with vision, the result of a policy on continuous economic development and continuity”, said Alfaro Gomez during the inauguration of the event.
The Secretary said that the issue of logistics is a comprehensive action that adds elements such as mobility, connectivity and infrastructure for development, but above all “articulates synergy and collaboration with the business sector of Guanajuato”.
The purpose of this forum is for the actors in the logistics chain to update themselves, promote their services and develop strategic alliances that strengthen the sector, with the aim of leading the logistics and mobility competitiveness of Guanajuato, it was informed in the event.
The head of the SDES highlighted the importance of the figure of clusters to work on solving common problems of companies of the same economic activity.
The Secretary participated in a talk to present the challenges and opportunities for this sector in Guanajuato by 2024.
