“With the opening of the fifth MAC Hospital in Guanajuato, the Entity is positioned as the number one in health in the center of the Country”, said the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo.
The Governor was at the inauguration ceremony of this hospital complex that is opening its services in Leon.
“This decision allows us to see that Guanajuato remains an ideal destination for the establishment and development of productive investment projects,” said the Governor.
Rodriguez Vallejo said that one of the best decisions he has made as Governor was to have preserved the health system in the State and thus preserve and guarantee medical care for Guanajuatenses.
“I say it with pride, we have the best Secretary of Health and the best Health System in this Country, with a network of public hospitals of 635 medical units, in addition to the network of private hospitals and medical schools, which make up a system solid health in Guanajuato”, said the Governor.
Miguel Isaac Khoury Siman, founding partner and president of the MAC Hospitals group, thanked the State Government for the opportunity to offer an alternative health care to the people of Guanajuato with this building that will exceed 2 billion pesos in investment. .
“We will be able to reach more Mexicans at fair prices; our job is to continue working, day by day, with the intention of serving better,” said the investor.
With this opening, the MAC Hospital Group has 20 hospitals in 17 cities in the country, becoming the hospital chain with the greatest geographical presence in Mexico.
The Hospital is built on 8 levels and will have 60 rooms, an emergency area, Imaging and Nuclear Medicine, 6 operating rooms, a Hemodynamics room, 2 Obstetrics rooms, hemodialysis and an Endoscopy room, administrative area, lobby, chapel, cafeteria, teaching and auditorium. The office tower has 344 offices on 14 levels.
The building will house:
- Cardiology areas, with a Hemodynamics and Coronary Therapy area, which will be specialized in the treatment of critical cardiology patients, without alternating with patients with other pathologies
- It will also have Oncology, both diagnostic and therapeutic.
- All operating rooms are intelligent and equipped with video systems for visual support in highly complex surgeries
- There is an Imaging service with 128-slice Tomography
- 1.5 Tesla Resonance
- Volumetric Ultrasound
- Digital Mammography
- Densitometry
- 2 digital X-ray romos
- Exclusive room area for short-stay patients
- Specific areas for Hemodialysis, Endoscopy and Bariatrics, among other
This hospital is on a space of 10,400 square meters, located on Airport Boulevard in the Villas de Santa Julia neighborhood.
Its construction will require an investment of around 2 thousand million pesos, which have already been invested in the hospital, the office tower, parking lot and other spaces.
The hospital will generate 500 direct jobs and more than 1,500 indirect jobs; During its construction, it generated more than a thousand temporary jobs.
