More than 4,300 workers have been certified to strengthen employability and productivity

As the State Administration advances, the Secretary of Economy has certified 4,314 people in job profiles:

3,447 under the Federal model
867 under the State model for the Standardization and Certification of Labor Competencies

The Government of the People, led by Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, promotes actions to guarantee quality and talent in the business, social, and governmental spheres.

The Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, emphasized that this initiative generates prosperity, strengthens productivity, and improves employability by formally recognizing the knowledge, skills, abilities, and aptitudes that enable efficient job performance, both at the individual and organizational levels.

Guanajuato accredited in CONOCER

The Secretary of Economy is accredited as a Certifying Entity by the National Council for the Standardization and Certification of Labor Competencies (CONOCER). Its function is to act as the Certification and Evaluation Institute of the National Competencies System, which promotes, coordinates, and regulates labor competency assessment and certification processes recognized in all of Mexico.

This is done in accordance with the Competency Standards in force in the National CONOCER Registry, and with prior authorization from the latter, evaluation centers and independent evaluators are accredited, following the General Rules and Criteria for the Integration and Operation of the National Competency System.

The State certification model

Certification is carried out through a comprehensive program that begins with standardization, a stage in which competency profiles tailored to the needs of the economic sector are identified and developed.

In this case Standardization Committees are formed, comprised of recognized specialists in each area, who define the standards and evaluation mechanisms to recognize performance in productive functions. In the evaluation stage, instruments based on knowledge, performance, and product are applied to verify that candidates meet the criteria established in the competency profiles.

Once the process is accredited, the work competency certificate and digital certificate are issued. This recognition allows individuals to professionalize and perform more effectively in their work environment.

Guanajuato is the only State in Mexico with a Labor Competency Certification model based on Standardization Committees, which has become a strategic priority to professionalize the population and ensure that the people of Guanajuato are the State’s most valuable asset.

With these actions, the People’s Government, through the Secretary of Economy, it was informed, reaffirms its commitment to prosperity and improved quality of life, promoting better employment opportunities.
