Mindfacture, innovation and entrepreneurship are part of the DNA of Guanajuatenses: Governor

“The State Mindfacture Day is a program that came to transcend, that young people must embrace because it is the present and the future of Guanajuato in terms of innovation and entrepreneurship”, said the Governor, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo.
The Governor of Guanajuato inaugurated the activities to commemorate the State Day of Mindfacture “Evolution 2023”.
In Guanajuato we live the Mindfacture every day. But for two years, by government decree, it has been commemorated every April 21. We are the only State of the Mexican Republic that has registered Mindfacture Day in its ephemeris, said the Governor.
Mindfacture is taught in basic education schools. It is promoted in our universities and upper secondary schools. It is practiced every day in the Research and Development Centers of companies and innovation parks, added the Governor.
“In addition, it is learned and developed in the Social Development Centers of the neighborhoods, through NODOS. It is practiced by young people in innovation and entrepreneurship gyms. And it is exercised and promoted with a public policy, in which Guanajuato is a pioneer state”, noted the Governor.
Rodriguez Vallejo said that the State Day of Mindfacture is a day to root, promote and recognize the culture of entrepreneurship and innovation. He said that going from Manufacturing to Mindfacture is one of the most important changes being made in Guanajuato, which is why the participation of young people in the activities that will take place during these two days is important.
“Young Guanajuatenses will take Guanajuato to the next level, our State will be a valley of technological development, that is why through IDEA GTO the support and tools that are being provided to young people are generated so that they can make their projects a reality”, said the Governor.
The General Director of IDEA GTO, Juan Antonio Reus Montano, welcomed all the participants to this event whose purpose is to share, detonate and build in Guanajuato a solid base of Mindfacture actions in order to build a culture of collaborative innovation between Government, Business, Academia and Citizens.
The program includes more than 100 activities, among them the conference by Sofia Nino de Rivera, Entrepreneur and Influencer, there are also prominent Speakers such as:
- Diana Kander, Writer and Editorialist at NY Times, Chris Barton, SHAZAM Founder, Rafa Carbal, Professor, Researcher and Scientific Disseminator, Taj Avaje, LinkedIn Program Manager and the Governor of the State of Guanajuato himself, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo
In the inauguration was the representative of UNESCO in Mexico Dorian Rommens; the President of the State DIF, Adriana Ramirez Lozano; and Mayors as well as legislators, state officials, academics and representatives of business organizations.
